Dad is cultivating corn, second time. The children are here and are having a good time. I canned 6 qt. strawberries today. I left them in oven 40 minutes at 275. Thick syrup, 1 can sour milk.

(Daisy named one of her daughters after Rosa and she expected Orpha to also, not this time, but I think that is why my name is Rosemary.)

The lame sow had 11 pigs today, lost 2. It sure nice day.

Stayed home all day, Dad is figuring out his Income Tax papers, nice day but little colder.

Went to Otsego, but did not take butter as it was spoiled from meat, we had in refrigerator. Saw Letha but Merle had just started working for Mr. Johnson in the meat house.
