Today I don't feel too good.
Tuesday, March 2, 1965
Orpha was here a while today. I cooked beans and spinach. I was surprised to see Orpha.
Wednesday, March 3, 1965
Dad went to Kalamazoo to get medicine and groceries. I am at home as usual. I had a tough night from 3 am till morning.
Thursday, March 4, 1965
Went to Orpha's, had a nice dinner and a lovely visit. Got letter from Merle, they are pretty good. He said they took a drive Sunday and went to the Dam, said lots of travel on roads.
Friday, March 5, 1965
Stayed home, did not do much of anything. I want to answer Merle's letter soon. I called Effie, she came home Monday, said Pete was better. I also called Orpha, she is okay. Bud asked Orpha why I didn't stay with her all night.

We went to Rosie's and Ike's. First we went to Ike's, he and Dorothy went to Kalamazoo. He got home little after 3 but we was then to Rosie's. He told us that Doris, the neighbor visited him.
Sunday, March 7, 1965
Seems like a nice day. Dad is ironing his pants and shirts. I don't feel too good. I have such a sore toe. I wrote Merle a letter yesterday. Went to Orpha's and her and Bud was having trouble. Stopped at store on way home, got lettuce, and mustard.
Monday, March 8, 1965
Sat home all day. It has been nice day. I talked to Orpha, she has an awful cold. I guess Bud has one too. I talked to Claudia first then called Orpha. Wrote 1 letter to Lucille.

I did a wash today. I had quite a large wash, 2 big tubs full. Orpha called, she has an awful cold, could hardly talk and she said Bud also had a cold.

Orpha is not too good, could hardly talk to me. I ironed clothes today.

Orpha is some better but got out of bed went for Rosemary and I sure feel it was not good for her.

Don Amechie is on channel 10 tonight. I called up Lebar to see about that place across form Orpha. Dad went to Kalamazoo, sent an order to Lane Bryant $14.05.

Well today is Sabbath and I am not doing much. Dad took some beef back that wasn't too good. Orpha is better so is Rosemary and I am sure glad. Rosemary got another cold shot. Dorothy is not too good either. She now has a tumor on her leg. Got order from Sears.

Sat around and listened to God's word on TV and radio. Channel 8 on TV. Kalamazoo on radio.
Monday, March 15, 1965
I mad my gown over that I got from Sears. Orby is going to doctor at Kalamazoo at 5 o'clock. A man just called wanted Orby but he was not at home.

Orpha was here a short time. I gave her some candy I made. I crochet a narrow edging for the handkerchief that has Mother on it that Orpha gave me.

Talked to Orpha and she and Bud was getting a little rest as she needed it and Bud took Rosemary to school.

It is still snowing and little colder. I called Orpha and Bud is taking Rosemary to school and Orpha is going over to Claudia's. I hope she don't make herself sick. Wrote Willard about the Tempe house on Don Carlos.

It is still snowing. We are as usual. I fixed one of my aprons.

It is nice and sun is bright. Spring began today. Got letter from Bessie about the corner house near Mrs. Thomas. The house on Don Carlos.

Sat around and mended a dress I had, was too large.

Heard Bro Bruder this morning 9:15 am for the first time, he preached from book of Jude. Wrote letter to see about place in Tempe. Orpha was here 2 hours I was so glad. I gave her 2 of my aprons and 3 doilys. I love my dear children. I often think of dear Daisy. She has been gone 16 months, bless her. Dad went to Planwell and Otsego.

I made over a night gown from sears. I sew all seams and made longer sleeves, I don't like them too short.

I did a wash while Dad shoveled out driveway. I had a big wash. The sun is shinning nice out but it is quite cold. Anita started to walk good today. (Anita Westra, Claudia's daughter) I wrote Bessie.

Well, I did my ironing and mended the crochet tablecloth today. I called Orpha and she said she just got home form Claudia's and she felt better. Had a nice talk with my darling daughter, I love my children so much.

I cleaned all my three rooms and carpet and dusted, was all tired out when I finished cleaning. I received my 4 books from brethren, Elgin Ill.

Went to send package to Lane Bryant and stopped to Ike's awhile to visit with him. Then came home, had dinner then went to Orpha's and Orby and Rosemary went and got apples, Delicious and Cortland's.

Nice day out. Stayed home all day listened to the ministers and they were good.
Monday, March 28, 1965
Orpha was here a while and Orby went to Kalamazoo to get package from Montgomery, it was vitamins, they were not what I ordered so sent them back.

Nice day, sun is bright. Stared my afghan I am making in crazy work. I did a wash.
Wednesday, March 30, 1965
It was a nice day. I am still making my peasant afghan. from the goods Effie gave me. I have some ironing to do. Got letter from Mrs. Dennis. Orpha is cleaning house.
