Orby said he had better not live with me now, don't let him change and say different. Raked up the thistles.

Stayed home, Orby cut 1/2 grass back yard.
Monday, July 3, 1944
Rake up hay for bedding. Orby went to Otsego to get rent. Donald is now Corporal, pretty good. Cat little baby dead.

Ray Irwin, wife and girl was here. Orby hauled 2 load hay for bedding.

Will take the Mother out of little rabbit pen today. Little eones will be 5 weeks old.

Sold calf, we bought off Kelderker $15.35, kettle $1.30, separator $7.00. Daisy and Ike was her for afternoon. Roller $2.50, charger $1.25, Potatoes $3.50, 5 bushel, scythe 50 cts.

May calf is 6 weeks today. Order my sheers from Chicago mail order today. Started Combine wheat after dinner.

Rain some last nite, but not enough to hurt combining. Finish combining this afternoon and took 1 load to town, got $1.45 had bushel.

It is lot cooler, Orby took load corn to Aston's today. took May calf to Three Rivers and sold him for $25.50 today.

I canned 11 qt. beans and 14 qt. chicken. I sure am tired.

bought calf tonight $1.50. Orpha, Bud and baby was here a few minutes, the baby sure is growing fine. Churned butter today, around 6 lb.

Orby hauled 2 load corn to Kalamazoo paid for 2 bushel corn today. Today is Ike's birthday.

Orby sold 10 bushel corn @$1.25 per bushel. Had our hay rake fixed today cost $1.00.

The old rabbit will get babies today, the other ones are 7 weeks old. Today went to sale, bought iron wheel wagon $7.00, dump boards $1.25. Mr. McLaughlin on old Michigan road had wheel fixed for trailer cost $2.50.

Sold 16 lb. cram yesterday for $3.06. Bought 80 does and 1 buck, and 5 small and 1 half grown. 8 hutches for $20.00. Dad also bought iron for trailer $2.80.

Orby fixed the steel wagon today.

Took 18 lb. cream to town got $2.85. Paid for material for trailer 50 ct.

Old Mother rabbit got young ones today. I went to Willard's to spend evening had a good time.

Received order off Sears, had some rain last night first time for awhile.

Today is sonny's birthday, god bless him, hes now 29 years old, but a baby to me. Betty had a 3#11oz. baby today, named Sandra Lee, it is in the incubator at Crisp Hospital.

Sold cream, I sent after shoes with Dad today at Vicksburg, paid $3.14.

Stayed home all day, Orby worked on trailer. No other President as good to be our than Roosevelt. People will find it out when its too late.
