Went to Otsego, the children gave us May Day drawings.

I am cleaning house. Got letter from Donald in England.

I am still cleaning.
Thursday, May 4, 1944
Our holstein calf is 3 weeks today.
Friday, May 5, 1944
Reds calf is 70 days old, commenced saving her milk, did my wash.
Saturday, May 6, 1944
Went to sale after dinner, bought high chair, oil and sled. Did mopping and ironing after supper.
Sunday, May 7, 1944
Daisy, Ike and Betty and Ken was here for dinner. Daisy gave me Donald's picture for Mothers day, I was sick today.
Monday, May 8, 1944
Dad went to Otsego, but I stayed home, did not feel like going. It is raining today, commenced after dinner.

I am cleaning house. Red calf and white calf is 2 weeks old.

I washed clothes today.

I did my ironing and cleaned dining room. Holstein calf 4 weeks old.

I cleaned my bedroom. Mr. & Mrs. was here to look at farm, got order from Montgomery my small rug.

Went to Merle's for Mothers Day, had a good time, we took a little ride, went past where Stuarts moved in country.

I did my wash. Went to Willard's to see if he would plant corn for us, they will let us know Monday nite. Lucille was there, real sick of Rheumatism. (Lucille would be 24)

Went to Orphas in evening, took 1# butter. The baby sure is nice, growing like a weed. Took the carriage robe that Bessie gave Orpha for baby.

Holstein calf 6 weeks today, took 6 hogs to market, got $12.30 lb. for them.

Commenced painting house.

Orby is painting house.

Will get little rabbits.

May got male calf today, went to Otsego to collect rent.

Orby painted house all day, and I did my wash.

The old mother rabbit got babies today, Orby went to see man about cutting hay.
